Specificity is the degree to which attitude is specific to a particular attribute while salience is the degree of awareness of holding an attitude. Basically, attitudes are man-made and they are part of an individualââ¬â¢s psychological make-up and develop and change in response to the personââ¬â¢s current needs. Each and every individual person has a peculiar attitude that distinguishes him from the others.
