I would ensure that she received the proper mental care she needed outside her home, where she would remain a child and not the subject of an experiment. As a therapist, I would primarily employ cognitive behavioral therapy, which is useful when modifying unwanted behavior such as temper tantrums exhibited by Genie. According to Dobson, cognitive behavioral therapy would also be effective since it enforces conditioning human behavior from the environment and external stimuli.
